DAGUN International School (DGIS) is an integral part of the Yé Dagun Taung Smart City Project, envisioned by Phwint Phyo Thit Company. Situated across 9.47 acres, our campus boasts five main buildings designed by the renowned Archetype Group from France. With a capacity for 2,000 students, DGIS offers a comprehensive curriculum inspired by the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Our mission is to nurture enquiring, knowledgeable, and caring individuals who are equipped to address global challenges and contribute meaningfully to society.

As an educator with over two decades of experience, my dream is to create a school that provides the best education to the local and global community in Myanmar.
The blueprint of the school design commenced in 2016. The architects, construction specialists, together with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and quality control engineers collaborated to build facilities that were safe, of world-class standard, and fit for the Mandalay weather.
Our team did a lot of research to identify a curriculum that would enable the development of intelligence and character in children. We believe that the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes are the best suited for this purpose. We aim to attract and retain qualified and experienced educators to deliver IB programmes from pre-school to high school.

Our school in Mandalay delivers an outstanding choice as part of the International Baccalaureate family, to informed parents seeking an education focused on pastoral care and academic excellence. DAGUN International School provides an enormous breadth of opportunity in which children can develop their own individual talents within a very supportive network with enquiry-based learning.
We combine academic excellence with a holistic approach to education to enable our students to reach their full potential in our purpose-built campus. This is achieved by delivering a rigorous academic programme suitably adapted for our international student body.
